Salutations to you and welcome to this shadowy corner of the web. Here you will find information about myself, Craig Smith, and what I do both to earn a crust and for fun.

I'm a software developer by profession and have worked in the software field since 1986. In that time I've moved from assembly language on 8-bit micros to Java and web development for large-scale network systems. Read my resume if you really want to know everything I've been up to.

In what little spare time I can put together, I run a shared web server environment for my own research experimentation and to host web sites for friends. I'm the webmaster and maintainer of a number of web sites, most notably the Australian Blues site, which is hosted on my web server. My bandwidth is provided by Australia On Line and if you need internet services in Australia you could certainly do a lot worse than give them a try. And they're nice people too.
